Pat O’Meara has been STACT president since 2018, and is a Trader at Sourcerock LP in Stamford CT.   Prior to joining Sourcerock in 2023, Pat was a trader with Discovery Capital from 2014-2023, and prior to that he was the Head Trader for Tiger Management LLC for almost nine years, with responsibility for the firm’s execution of all products globally. Previous to Tiger Management, Pat was a Director at Citigroup Global Markets Inc. in New York, working on the International Equity desk primarily covering hedge funds. Prior to Citigroup, he was a Director at Merrill Lynch for six years as a sales trader in the international equities group. Pat spent two years from 1995 to 1997 in Hong Kong working for Morgan Stanley Asia after starting his career at Tiger in 1993. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia.
